ProCook’s new HQ is a hub for innovation and growth

ProCook, Britain’s leading direct-to-consumer specialist kitchenware brand, has grown rapidly in recent years, particularly during the pandemic, which saw record demand for their products. Founded in 1996, ProCook has embraced eCommerce and scaled its operations to meet customer demand. In 2023, they moved into a new, bespoke 167,000 sq ft facility developed by Indurent, located at Indurent Park Gloucester.

ProCook’s new headquarters not only serves as a distribution centre but also as a showcase for their products, featuring a 3,100 sq ft showroom. The company continues to innovate, using their facility to support growth and enhance customer service. With Indurent’s flexible approach, ProCook has created a workspace tailored to their needs, ensuring they are well-positioned for future expansion.

Thriving in the new facility

The new headquarters serves as both a state-of-the-art distribution centre and office space, consolidating ProCook’s operations under one roof. This move has streamlined their logistics, housing all 1,400 of their product lines in one place. The facility’s proximity to Junction 12 of the M5 provides excellent access to the UK’s major distribution networks, allowing ProCook to meet the high expectations of modern ecommerce customers with faster deliveries and greater stock availability.

Employee wellbeing

ProCook’s new headquarters is designed with employee wellbeing in mind, featuring modern amenities such as a café, a gym, and a dedicated wellbeing room. These facilities create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the company’s 200+ staff, making it an attractive workplace that supports collaborative work and staff retention.

Sustainability and energy efficiency

Sustainability is at the core of the building’s design. The facility has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and an EPC ‘A’ rating, reflecting its high standards of energy efficiency. Features such as solar panels, EV charging points, and rainwater harvesting systems help ProCook reduce its environmental impact while lowering operational costs​. The building’s design aligns with ProCook’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values, further supported by Indurent’s focus on sustainable development.

By consolidating operations into one larger facility, ProCook has driven operational efficiencies, reducing the costs associated with managing multiple locations. The high energy efficiency of the building helps ProCook keep energy costs low while contributing to their ESG goals. The office space, which has been expanded to 18% of the facility, includes a dedicated training hub to attract and develop skilled employees​.
