Business success

Huboo’s new warehouse at Indurent Park Chippenham is their largest facility, at 106,000 sq ft, which has allowed them to expand their services significantly. It has created 400 new job opportunities and enabled them to ship over nine million products in a year.

The unit allows Huboo to implement their unique micro-hub model, making their fulfilment operations more efficient and scalable.

With our Chippenham site, we knew it was going to be our biggest warehouse to date, so the need to appeal to local talent was more pertinent than ever. We were impressed by the range of wellbeing facilities on offer in the warehouse space, which we saw would make it easier to recruit the best people. We have amazingly rich local amenities—from the park and fitness trail to outdoor seating areas where people can eat lunch together. We have been able to create hundreds of jobs since opening last year in a space where everyone genuinely enjoys coming to work.

Facilities

The unit and park provide a variety of wellbeing amenities, including outdoor seating, a fitness trail around the park, and benches with solar-powered charging points. These facilities are designed to create a pleasant and health-focused work environment.

Energy efficiency

The unit is built to the BREEAM Excellent standard and has an EPC A rating, ensuring energy efficiency. It is also equipped with electric vehicle (EV) charging points for employees, and the building has solar PV panels to support carbon-neutral operations.

Huboo’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in the site’s focus on biodiversity, including the preservation of green spaces, ecological enhancements, and a bat corridor.
